One year ago, sneaker trends may be all over the place, but they are not yet down for the Count. Classic styles like the Air Jordan V may have peaked a little, but that is not to say that the newest colorways and styles on offer are not going places. This year, we look to the spring for some great sneaker trends to see in stores.
Our first stop this season is the new collab between Reebok and Adidas. After almost two decades, the collaboration between these two giants has finally come to fruition and it’s a one of a kind release that deserves every accolade given to it. Constructed out of premium leather and embellished with Adidas branding on the side, the Reebok Adi Rise is sure to garner plenty of attention as one of the top sneaker trends of the year. This shoe also boasts a host of sporty features, including an Easy Fit mid-foot cushioning system, a tongue scraper that locks out, and a full grain leather upper.
Our next sneaker trend for the spring is the all-acrylic basketball shoe from Mephisto. Unlike the Air Jordan V, which is crafted out of a single piece of leather, Mephisto’s latest offering is made up of two different materials. The first being a rubberized exterior, while the second being pure leather. This allows for the Mephisto Adio to have excellent traction, allowing it to grip surfaces like concrete in addition to wood. If you want to wear a high-quality sneaker without having to sacrifice style, the Mephisto Adio is one of the best options available this season.
